10/19 WINNDEVIE FINISHES THIRD IN BREEDERS CROWN ELIMINATION
Winndevie traveled to Woodbine Mohawk Park Saturday to compete in Breeders Crown eliminations. For the third straight race Winndevie had to overcome post eight to qualify for the final. The three year old Credit Winner-Vida De Vie filly sat last most of the mile and things looked out of reach entering the stretch. When the field straightened for home driver Brian Sears put the hammer down and Winndevie flew home with a 26.1 last quarter for a third place finish and a spot in the $500,000 final.
